Translating films into posters.

A movie is a personal experience, but how do you capture its narrative into a single image? These posters aim to translate a story, mood, or emotion from each movie into a single visual. Additionally, deviating from industry standards, the director of some of these movies chose to highlight the cast, emphasizing that filmmaking is a collective effort rather than just the director’s achievement.

When a sudden gust of wind sends her scarf flying out the window, Ema leaves her post to retrieve it. But this gesture sets in motion an absurd journey, as her compliant coworkers repeatedly try to hold her back.

Fragile

Using 3D modeling, I created the poster and title animation for the movie Frágil. It tells the story of a group of friends who spend nights battling the desire to go out and the fear of approaching the city’s most iconic nightclub.

“You’re in a great rush, to arrive at that agitation. To spend eight hours alienating yourself. But you already do that from Monday to Friday. And at the Club, you’re the one paying.”  – IMDB
